Aus Unterlagen \u00fcber einen Streit mit dem Nachbarn Eulering (sp\u00e4ter Kleppe) geht hervor, dass 1864 der Eigent\u00fcmer des Grundst\u00fcckes Heinrich Gro\u00dfe Brink war. Aus einem Vergleich mit dem Nachbarn Kleppe wird ersichtlich, dass 1899 das Haus dem Viehh\u00e4ndler Theodor Otten geh\u00f6rte. Im Jahre 1910 erwarb der aus Dorsten stammende Kaufmann Willi Ahrens das Haus und er\u00f6ffnete 1911 dort ein Textilgesch\u00e4ft.
