Man stellte schnell fest, dass die Ausf\u00fchrung des Baues nicht wie erw\u00fcnscht erfolgt war. Die Dachziegel waren nur halb gebacken, sodass bereits 1824 500 Ziegel ausgetauscht werden mussten. Der ausf\u00fchrende Unternehmer wurde eine Strafe von 300 Reichstalern auferlegt. 1835 wurde neben der alten Schule ein Stallgeb\u00e4ude errichtet. 1856 wurde auf der Nordseite des Geb\u00e4udes ein drittes Klassenzimmer und eine Lehrerwohnung angebaut. Die Bauausf\u00fchrung wurde dem Holzh\u00e4ndler Theodor Klapheck \u00fcbertragen. Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts stellte man fest, dass das Schulgeb\u00e4ude marode war und nicht mehr f\u00fcr die Sch\u00fclerzahl ausreichte. Daher entschloss sich der Schulvorstand zum Neubau der Dorfschule. Bis zum Bau der neuen Schule 1903 und auch sogar noch Jahre dar\u00fcber hinaus erf\u00fcllte das Geb\u00e4ude noch die Funktion des Schulgeb\u00e4udes. Sp\u00e4ter befand sich im Geb\u00e4ude das Gesundheitsamt; au\u00dferdem wurde es unter anderem als Lagerraum f\u00fcr die Feuerwehr genutzt. Das alte Schulgeb\u00e4ude wurde dann in den 1960er Jahren dann abgerissen.
