Die Gastwirtschaft in dem Haus trug den Namen \u201eZum Treppchen\u201c. Der Name hat den Grund, dass das Geb\u00e4ude zur Oberhofstra\u00dfe hin drei ganze Geschosse hatte und zum alten Kirchplatz hin nur zwei, da der Kirchplatz h\u00f6her lag und liegt. Da sich die R\u00e4ume der Gastwirtschaft ebenerdig zum alten Kirchplatz hin befanden, musste man von der Oberhofstra\u00dfe eine Treppe hinaufgehen, um in die Gastwirtschaft zu gelangen. Das Haus hatte eine zu der Zeit besondere Verkleidung, n\u00e4mlich mit Schieferplatten.
